In the beginning there was two kids called Joey Dowdel and Mary Alace,they lived in Chicago. They were going to their grandma's for a week. They grew up back in the days of Al Capone.In the Coffee Pot were people who went to loaf,talk tall,and gossip.Grandma told the kids of how Shotgun Cheat ham got his name.She told them that he was about ten years old and he wanted to shoot a quail with the big kids. On Grandma's porch was a reporter to ask if she knew anything about Shotgun Cheatham(criminal).She did not tell the reporter real facts about him.
In the story there is this girl named Mary Alice and her brother. They are living with there grandma. The reason why is because the parents said"they have to be with grandma for a while." And the kids thought their parents are just trying to go on a trip with out them. So, they are living in the contry. And so far their not use to living in the contry. The reason why is because they are living in Chicago, but the grandma lives in the contry. So now they are living in the contry. Also there is this story in the contry. It's about this dude named Shotgun? What i think is that's weird to call a boy named after a gun. Don't you think so?
So far what has happened in my book is about.These two kids and their grandma.And the kids dad said they are preety old to travel they live in Chicago.Grandma has a grandson that is in a gang and that nobody ever messes with him.She says that he will even eat you for lunch.I also read about grandma and Mary Alice seeing a mouse in a trap.They were both so insainly supprised they couldn't believe their eyes.
so far in the story its about this two kids that moved from Chicago to the country. the grand mom is a phsico cheap woman. in the chapter i read today she purposely put a mouse in the milk i think so she can get money.
